How do I volunteer?
You can call our office at (615) 297-3955 OR you can e-mail us at rtnashville@gmail.com with ‘Volunteer’ in the subject line.

What if I can’t volunteer for construction is there another way I can help?
Of course! We always need help. We need ‘safety coordinators’ and ‘hospitality coordinators’ as well on job sites. Hospitality coordinators are our friendly faces and helpful hands ensuring that our volunteers have access to the water, lunch, coffee and snacks we provide. You ensure that all our waivers are signed and thank you notes are written. Safety coordinators are our eyes and ears making sure everyone is taking appropriate safety precautions (i.e. safety googles when using power tools) and that tools and materials are not a hazard on the job site.

Can I volunteer in other ways besides on a build site?
Yes! We have committees that help our office year round and use all kinds of talents that don’t necessarily have to do with construction.

What committees can I serve on?
We currently have three committees that help our office plan for the year. The Fundraising and Finance Committee help us raise money about our mission and cause. The AMP (Advocacy, Marketing and Public Relations) Committee helps us plan events and get our name out there to prospective clients and sponsors. The Construction Resources Committee helps us identify skilled house captains, train hospitality coordinators and get products donated to help us out on build day.

How can I sign up to serve on a committee?
If you are interested in serving on a committee, please contact our office at (615) 297-3955 or send us an e-mail at rtnashville@gmail.com with “Committee” in the subject line. We can then pass your information to the correct board member to contact you.
